Every day another six thousand people take on a caring responsibility so if you are new to caring you are not alone.
Often carers don’t recognise the term, people see themselves doing what anyone would, helping to look after a family member or friend who needs them.
However, caring will have an impact on your life. It may be on your own health, an emotional impact, social or financial impact.
There is help and support available to you from a range of local and national organisations, don’t be worried about asking for help. If you look after someone remember you matter too.
