Prescriptions

If you, or the person you care for, need lots of prescriptions, and you are not entitled to free NHS prescriptions, it may be worth buying a Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC). If you need 4 or more items in 3 months or 15 items or more in 12 months, a PPC could save you money. Details and an application form (Form FP95) can be obtained from chemists or GP surgeries or downloaded from the website. You can also apply by telephone or through the website but you will need a credit or debit card for this.
