The Carers Centre produces a number of information resources for professionals coming into contact with carers. These detail the different services we offer and can give you a better understanding of the impacts that being a carer can have. The leaflets can be downloaded and printed off, or supplies requested from us by emailing: info@thecarerscentre.org

Professionals An introduction to our services aimed at those coming into contact with carers, such as health professionals, teachers, Citizens Advice Bureaux staff, Job Centre staff, etc.

Are you a Carer? – The Carers Centre general leaflet, aimed particularly at carers, explaining what a carer is, the type of support available and the things carers can do to help themselves.

Young Carers ProjectAn introduction to the project, how it can help and what impacts being a young carer can have. Aimed at young carers (aged 6 to 17), their families and any professionals that may come in contact with them.

 

We do also have a number of factsheets for carers on a variety of topics and can provide carer awareness training to groups of professional staff on request (See our Training section)
