The Carers Centre
The Carers Centre for Brighton and Hove is an independent charity providing invaluable information, support and activities to unpaid carers living throughout the City.
“Taking on a caring responsibility can have huge impacts for a person, which is why we are here to help when we are needed.”
All of our support, events and activities for carers are Free, so we rely on donations to help us to continue to provide a comprehensive and high quality service to adult and young carers across Brighton and Hove.
How can I give?
The generous support from the public through donations and fundraising enable us to help more people in the Brighton and Hove area.
Of every £1 we spend on our services, 70p comes thorough government and charitable trust funding. Donations and fundraising make up the remaining 30p.
Whether you are doing a sponsored event, would like to make a one off donation or give on a more regular basis, your contribution (large or small) will make a real difference to our work and to the lives of those we support.
£20 could help pay for refreshments at one of our regular coffee mornings, giving carers the chance to meet others in similar situations and gain valuable peer support.
