We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Inclusion and Development Worker to join our team. The Carers Centre provides support to over 3000 unpaid family/friend carers in the city of Brighton & Hove. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated group of staff and volunteers to help develop and sustain vital and innovative services to carers across our city.

Job Title:


Carers Inclusion and Development Worker

Team: Adult Carers Team
Hours of Work: 22.5hrs (3 dyas) per week

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required

Salary: £24,000 – 26,000 p.a. (pro rata – final salary dependent on experience of successful candidate)




Probationary period:

Fixed-term contract until 31/3/24 (with possible extension, funding permitting)

6 Months

Responsible to: Adult Carers Team Manager
Accountable to: CEO
Leave Entitlement: 25 Days Plus 3 additional Christmas office closure days and Public Holidays (pro rata for part time posts)
