We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Young Carers Support and Outreach Worker to join our team. The Carers Centre provides support to over 3000 unpaid family/friend carers in the city of Brighton & Hove. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated group of staff and volunteers to help develop and sustain vital and innovative services to carers across our city.

Job Title: Young Carers Support and Outreach Worker
Salary: £23,000 – £25,000
Responsible to: Young Carers Team Manager
Accountable to: CEO
Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)
Place of Work: 18 Bedford Place, Brighton BN1 2PT, plus other venues around Brighton and Hove (some homeworking is negotiable)
Annual Leave: 25 days per year (plus 3 additional Christmas office closure days) – Pro Rata for this P/T role
Length of Contract: Permanent
Period of Notice: One month
Probation Period: Six months
