Established in 1988, The Carers Centre for Brighton & Hove is a registered charity (1015728) and company limited by guarantee (2758481) working with unpaid family carers, resident within the unitary authority of Brighton & Hove, or caring from someone who lives in Brighton & Hove.
“A Carer is a person of any age, adult or child, who provides unpaid support to a partner, child, relative, or friend who couldn’t manage to live independently or whose health or well-being would deteriorate without this help. This could be due to frailty, disability or serious health condition.” (The NHS England, 2017)
Our mission is to make a positive difference to the lives of carers by encouraging a wider recognition of their caring role; enabling them to fulfil their own needs as individual and offering them appropriate support. Please contact us for more information.
