We were able to welcome over 40 carers to our carers festival at St Augustine’s Arts and Events Centre on June 9.
Free refreshments kept everyone going while the centre was energised by the wonderful staff from over 15 organisations who attended and provided information.
Free goodies and activities were the order of the day.
We also held a meet up of the Carers Voice group, a Question and Answer session with our Brighton and Hove Carers Commissioner Gemma Scambler, a Self Care and Creativity session with Changes Ahead and finished off with some relaxing music and slides in the Chill Zone.
We would like to thank all the organisations who attended and provided such a fantastic atmosphere for carers to attend.
