NRS Healthcare is hosting a free ‘Moving People at home’ session for carers, in partnership with The Carers Centre.
The session will highlight the importance of back care, provide information on good moving and handling practice alongside a practical element where you can see demonstrations of using moving and handling equipment safely, along with some useful short videos. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about safe pratice.
Denise an Occupational Therapy Assistant with vast experience in this area, will be running the session with Community Engagement Lead Sarah, who helps support people to remain independent and safe at home, and their carers.
