We have now revised our Fact Sheet No.5 – Transport Services (February 2024).
This gives a lot of information on local and national transport services, particularly for people with disabilities, the elderly and carers. Local services include Blue Badges, Bus Passes, Carers Card Discounts on Bus Fares, the Helping Hand Scheme for Buses, Wheelchair Access to Buses, the Patient Transport Service and Use of Taxis and Vouchers. National services include the Motability Scheme, the Disabled Persons Railcard and Claiming Healthcare Travel Costs.
